Arm Lift

The fatty tissue beneath the skin thins out with time, and the skin on the hands relaxes. Sometimes there is an accumulation of fat in the triceps area, resulting in an ugly appearance (flabby arms).

This problem can be treated with surgery when the degree of relaxation is large enough and aims to:

  • Reducing excessively loose skin.
  • The tightening of the underlying supporting tissue that determines the shape of the upper arm.
  • Reducing local fat in the area.

Surgical Procedure:

There are two stages to the Arm Lift.

The first stage entails the removal of local fat via a tiny incision using the well-known medical method of liposuction.

The extra skin is removed in the second stage by a tiny incision under the armpit (with a slight degree of relaxation). The incision is done in the groove between the biceps and the triceps, i.e. from the elbow to the axilla, in cases where the relaxation is rather substantial.

Benefits of surgery:

  • The picture you have of your body will improve.
  • You will no longer be self-conscious about the appearance of your hands.
  • You will be free to wear sleeveless blouses with no constraints.
  • You will be able to move your hands freely.
  • Your hands will be firmer and more youthful in appearance.

The type of anesthesia that we use

The procedure is carried out under local, hypnosis (hypnosis), and general anesthesia.

Duration of surgery and recovery time

The procedure normally takes between two and three hours, depending on the demands of each patient. If Dr. Andreas Ioannidis approves the patient, he or she can leave the clinic the same day.

When do the first results appear and duration of results

The first effects of the procedure are obvious right away. Six months following the operation, the ultimate effect will be clearly visible. The duration of the effect is determined by the weight's stability and can last for many years. The natural aging process will cause certain changes in your physique and skin, but the relaxation in your arms will be much reduced.

Are the marks and incisions permanent?

The scars from this procedure begin at the armpit and extend to the elbow. It will be noticeable, particularly if you raise your hands high. The scar begins to fade over time. The new picture of your hands, as well as the confidence it gives you, will help the scars disappear..

New Techniques

The revolutionary Thermi Tight procedure, which uses radio frequencies under the skin to encourage collagen synthesis and dramatically increase relaxation without incisions, pain, or recovery time, is described from Dr. Andreas Ioannidies'. This procedure is used to relax a little amount of tissue and remove local thickness.
