Breast Augmentation

Who is this treatment directed to?

  • Women with small breasts or sagging breasts as a result of weight loss, pregnancy, or time
  • Those who desire to even out a size discrepancy or asymmetry in their chest

Types of implants we use

Dr. Andreas Ioannidis employs latest generation silicone implants with a lifetime guarantee that they do not fold. The new generation of implants is elastomeric and has a texture similar to that of a natural breast.

Size selection

Following your initial consultation with Dr. Andrea Ioannidis, he will assess your health and explain which surgical method is best for you, as well as the size that best suits you so that your breasts are in proportion to the rest of your body. The following factors influence implant selection:

  • The anatomy and size of the breasts
  • Elasticity of the skin
  • Every lady has a different body type.

The placement of the implant

The anatomy and recommendations of Dr. Andrea Ioannidis will determine how we insert and place the implant. The implant can be implanted in the following ways:

  • The mammary gland is located behind the mammary gland.
  • The muscle behind the muscle
  • Denervation of Muscles (Subfascial)

Dr. Andreas Ioannidis uses the subfascial procedure, which involves placing the silicone implant beneath the pectoralis major muscle's denervation. The benefits of this procedure include the ability to integrate the best features of both earlier placement strategies (front and back of the pectoralis major muscle). We produce a natural result, breast image harmony, and a decreased percentage of complications with this procedure. Subfascial placement follows the same steps as a traditional breast augmentation but with less stress. The use of high-frequency radio waves to remove the denervation and form the cavity for the implant has shown to be a very effective tool in the direction of less invasive surgery.

Location of the treatment

Without the requirement for hospitalization, such a procedure can be conducted in a clinic. The patient may be able to go home the same day, but in other circumstances, one night of hospitalization may be required.

Where the incision is made

The incision is simple to make:

  • it is made between the breast and the breast fold.
  • Underarm cavity around the black region of the nipple
  • Every attempt will be made to situate the incision as efficiently as feasible in order for it to be as obvious as possible.

Type of anesthesia

Breast augmentation is done under general anesthesia, which means the patient sleeps the entire time.

After surgery

The patient may experience pain after the operation and for the next two days. After heavy exertion, the discomfort frequently feels like a grasp or a burn. Dr. Andreas Ioannidis can prescribe medicine to alleviate some of the discomfort in the first two days. We apply a special bra to the patient right after the operation, which he wears for around two weeks. Can someone resume their normal routine after four days? The sutures are biodegradable and will be gone in two to three weeks. For roughly a month, avoid heavy exercise.

Can the patient breastfeed after breast augmentation surgery?

The improvement of our breast augmentation technique, as well as the new generation of implants, ensures safety and the ability to nurse without difficulty.

Each patient receives a copy of the type of implant used as well as an ID number so that postoperative follow-up is uniform and there is no ambiguity about the implant's quality.
