Breast Lift

Gravity, weight loss, or mammary gland atrophy, as well as age-related changes in the breast, can result in sagging breasts, and changes in the anatomical position of the gland, nipple, and other aesthetic issues.

As previously stated, these changes in the aesthetic effect are divided into two parts: the fall of the breast and the loss of mass - gland volume and fatty elements of the breast.

In cases with mild laxity and gland ptosis we can choose a less traumatic approach by using silicone implants in order to restore the volume and periareolar (Benelli) incision lift.

A greater extent of ptosis and volume loss can be dealt with an incision around the nipple and a vertical incision, as well as the fundamental inverted T incision, i.e., an incision around the nipple and a vertical and horizontal incision in the submammary fold.

The operation lasts about 2-3 hours and may necessitate an overnight stay at the clinic. There is no pain or discomfort, and overall downtime is only 2-4 days. Depending on wound healing the patient can start exercise 1 month postoperatively. Sutures are absorbable, and the patient is required to wear an elastic soft bra for 2-3 weeks.

Dr. Ioannidis will determine which is the suitable procedure for each case, always keeping in mind the patients desired result.

In addition, after the conclusion of the procedure, a series of Low Power laser sessions are conducted for a quick and painless recovery and scar remodeling.
