IPL Treatment for Acme

What is IPL treatment?

The treatment with IPL (intense pulsed light) technology is based on the emission of high intensity light aimed at the permeability of the skin. The waves it emits are wide range between 512-1200nm with multi-color. The treatment aims at regeneration at the cellular level and not at the creation of burn wounds. Two pathways of energy, light and heat, selectively target fibroblasts while simultaneously reorganizing existing elements, elastin and collagen. It is a non-invasive method of rejuvenation and painless photorejuvenation. The size of the head allows large surfaces to be treated in a short time.

What are the indications for IPL treatment?

IPL treatment is indicated for:

Tissue regeneration and increase of collagen and elastin
Color changes (freckles, spots)
Vascular lesions
Photo-aged skin
Treatment of fine lines and wrinkles at the cellular level
Acne scars

How does IPL treatment affect acne?

The continuous use of IPL in a number of cases, of different histological level, has proven the excellent treatment of the propionic bacterium, responsible for the appearance of acne. Its thermal action reduces the size of the sebaceous gland, regulating sebum production. Due to the production of new collagen, the inflammations of the skin are reduced, leading to complete regeneration.

Who is IPL treatment for and how many sessions are needed?

IPL treatment is aimed at all ages, men and women. Depending on the needs and the type of skin, a treatment protocol is adapted for each patient. 5 to 8 sessions with an interval of 20 to 30 days are required.
