Thermi Thread Assisted Lift

What is Thermi Thread Assisted Lift?

A minimally invasive technique that Dr. Andreas Ioannidis has developed that deals with the aging changes of the face and neck. This technique utilizes three different technologies (thermi tight, PCA Threads and mild tissue mobilization) and can be done either with local anesthesia or mild sedation.

Best Candidate for TTAL?

Intended for patients with mild relaxation of the midface and neck area who do not wish to proceed with something more invasive.

What are its benefits?

The combination of these three techniques results in a universal improvement of the image of the face as well as the neck.
ThermiTight Technology leads to skin tightening and lipolysis in specific anatomical zones that we determine using monopolar radio frequencies under the skin.
The use of polycaprolactone threads, in addition to supporting and lifting the midface, leads to the regeneration and creation of collagen from our own tissue.
The above in combination with the mobilization of the skin and subcutaneous tissue leads to tightening, regeneration and improvement of the oval shape of the face.

Postoperative course.

The technique is well tolerated by patients, the most common side effects being tenderness, swelling (more common), bruising and numbness. Side effects are not permanent and usually go away in 7 to 14 days. The majority of patients who have undergone the procedure are satisfied with the final result. The evaluation of the results cannot be immediate, since there is swelling after the treatment, so the evaluation is usually done at 48 hours, 30, 60, 90 and 180 days. The results of the procedure is lipolysis, skin tightening, improved skin texture, improvement of the oval shape of face, significant improvement of sagging skin in the upper and middle third of the neck.

Duration

As a treatment, it lasts from 60'-90', which depends on whether the neck area will be included.
